The home offers sleeping for 6 with great entertaining spaces. Enjoy the wrap around deck, fire pit, and the beautiful mountain views. Within the community, enjoy various hiking trails.

Located in Black Mountain (about 15 minute drive to downtown), nearby activities to High Cliffs include local stores offering unique shopping opportunities, as well as galleries, music, craft furniture, and breweries in this easily walkable historic district. Rocking chairs are located all around town so you can rest and take in the scenic view. For an easy stroll with gorgeous views of the mountains, head to Lake Tomahawk park which is only a few blocks from downtown. Here you can walk the half-mile loop trail around the lake and enjoy views of Graybeard Mountain and other surrounding peaks. Around town, you’ll find a wide variety of places to eat to fuel up between adventures. The Blue Ridge Biscuit Company, Louise’s Kitchen, and Black Mountain Ale House are all popular restaurants. My Father’s Pizza is a long-standing local favorite as well!

Interior features and amenities: New, modern home with million-dollar mountain views. Open floor plan conducive for entertaining. Plenty of seating for all. Full kitchen equipped with all essentials, stainless appliances and K-cup coffee maker. Well appointed living room with a gas fireplace and large windows to show off the view! 4 TV’s in the home with local channels and streaming capabilities.

Accommodations: Sleeps 6 guests. The large owners retreat on the main floor has a queen-size bed, large closet, and en-suite bathroom. The half bath and laundry facilities can also be found on the main level. Lower level offers a queen-sized bed in one private room with an en-suite bathroom, a full-sized bed in another private room, and a second living room with an additional refrigerator. The ice maker does not work in this home**

Exterior features and amenities: Wrap around deck with plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the view. There is an electric grill located inside of the storage closet outside for guest use as well as a fire pit griddle. Enjoy the large yard with fire pit for roasting some s’mores!

Other fun destinations near this home include visiting the adorable and quirky town of Chimney Rock! The Village is about 25-30 minutes from the home and offers amazing local shops and restaurants as well as some fantastic craft beer and cocktails. Be sure to take time to meander down the Rocky Broad RiverWalk, a beautiful path that winds around the Rocky Broad River. When you are done enjoying the town, take a trip to Chimney Rock State Park for great hiking and sightseeing!

While you’re there, make sure to visit Lake Lure - one of the most beautiful man-made lakes in the country and is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Take a relaxing walk on the boardwalk any time of the year and cross the Flowering Bridge. Enjoy a picnic and some swimming by the lake or take a boat cruise. There is so much to enjoy!
