„My family of 14 people needed a place for all of us to stay for the holidays. The twin turrets was a great fit for what we needed. Everyone had their own bed, the bathrooms took a little time to get showers scheduled, since there are only 2 showers, but it worked out. The home was fun to explore inside and out. We went for some walks on the trails, enjoyed watching the ducks and geese, or just looking out at the lake. So peaceful! “

„We stayed with a group of friends over the superbowl weekend. We have stayed here before and we loved it just as much the second time as we did the first. The owner makes things easy for those who stay from her communication with you to the checkout process. The amenities are amazing. We had a great time and we will stay again!“

„I knew we were staying in a historic house when I booked the listing but I didn’t realize the historic significance of the building at the time. The listing undersells itself and is an absolute steal. The home is extremely clean and has more amenities than you could ever dream of. The owners were so kind and helpful. 10/10, I won’t stay anywhere else the next time we are in town. “

„We had a family wedding at Pebble Creek Farm, just 6 miles away from The Roost. Ten of us including aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews had plenty of room at the house to get ready for the wedding, and to gather for snacks and games in the kitchen afterwards. Everything was really clean and comfortable. We would love to come back here and stay for a winery weekend! “

„Perfect get away. This place is about as authentic as it gets. The photos are great, but the true rustic feel can only really be grasped in person. The host is very accommodating and has put a lot of thought into his hospitality. There are chickens that supply eggs. We received honey and bread. It is quiet and so relaxing. We already want to go back. “

„It's older and doesn't have a lot of the extras that I've found at other properties. But it worked well for our Silent Book Club weekend. Very comfortable. But refrigerator is very old and the shelves looked ready to break under the weight of a 12 pack of soda. Freezer doesn't even have an ice maker. But LOTS of towels and blankets. “
