„Our small family, including our dog, spent the New Year in the house. It is lovingly decorated and equipped with everything to make it cozy. We particularly enjoyed the abundance of board games. Lorraine, our host, was very friendly and made sure we lacked nothing. We especially indulged in the world's best brownies. The surroundings are ideal for visiting the most famous spots (Rubha Hunish, Quiraing, Man of Storr, etc.). All in all, a perfect stay!“

„If only the owners would listen to the customer feedback from previous guests! All the same niggling issues stop this from getting g a 5 star rating. Dirty pots and pans, a central heating system that needed to be rebooted constantly, poor level of cleaning generally, all have been commented on by previous guests!“

„Cottage liegt 5 Meter neben Hauptstrasse, wo die Autos mit 90-100 km/h vorbeifahren. Der Strassenlärm war unerwartet. Seesicht? Man sieht den See durch die Sträucher ein bisschen. Ensprach bei weitem nicht den Erwartungen.“

„Nach 2 Wochen Abenteuer durch die schottische Wildnis haben wir uns bewusst für die Unterkunft entschieden. Absolut ruhige Lage. Nur die tierische Nachbarschaft war manchmal laut ;-) Die Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer ist schnell und unkompliziert. Zum Großeinkauf am besten nach Fort William. Dort gibt es Aldi und weitere Lebensmittelläden. Wir haben haben die Zeit sehr genossen.“

„We loved our stay at Ridge Edge Cottage! The neighbors (and their dog) were wonderful and it was so fun to live among the locals for a few nights. You have everything you need here including a washing machine (no dryer). The dishes were not all clean in the cabinet but that was an easy fix with the dish soap provided. It is quite far from Portree (45-60 minutes) but well worth the drive. “

„Die Lage ist super. Schön mittig auf der Insel, sodass man überall max eine Stunde braucht. TV Anlage, Radio vorhanden, sogar DVD und auch einige in Deutscher Sprache. Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Es ist alles da was man so braucht. Check-in und out waren unkompliziert. Die Kummunikation mit allen Verantwortlichen war einfach und super freundlich. Was uns nicht gefallen hat, war der muffige Geruch in allen 3 Schlafräumen und im Flur. Wobei die zwei hinteren Schlafzimmer am schlimmsten waren. ...

„End House Inverness was absolutely beautiful. It exceeded our expectations. We forgot it had two bathrooms, so we were so excited to see that it had that. The provisions provided to get us started were very thoughtful and helpful. The house was roomy, clean, beautifully decorated, well stocked. The directions provided for all the amenities were more than sufficient to make correct use of them. We hope to be able to stay here again some day.“

„The house is located in a great location, just above the Market Brae steps, making it central to most places in the city center. The house is old, but very well kept. Two of the bedrooms are located on the second floor and a third, with its own bathroom, on the third. Stairs are a bit of a struggle, if you're not used to them, but not a huge issue. „Cottage was perfect when we approached and went through the door , we moved the wicker basket to use it as a coffee table as it had glass on top of it , underneath there was lots of dead beasties , dread to think what the bottom of the basket was like , I swept them up and carried on , to realise we could not lock the door from the inside so had to leave it unlocked , apart from that it’s a lovely little place for a night or 2“

„Es war äußerst schwierig das Objekt zu finden, keine Hinweisschilder wie beschrieben, außerdem entspricht die Abbildung gar nicht dem Objekt ( Es ist ein großes Mehrfamilienhaus). Das Gebäude ist sehr hellhörig, wir haben von den Gästen der oberen Wohnung jeden Schritt gehört. Leider gibt es einen großen Sanierungsstau, einige Dinge funktionieren leider nicht. Der Vorteil des Objektes liegt in großzügigen Räumlichkeiten, es befindet sich sehr nahe der wunderbaren Insel Skye, auch andere ...
