„The stone house was absolutely beautiful. The picture windows looked out over the lake so we could watch the birdlife during the daytime and the lights of Kastoria at night. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and treats for breakfast, which was much appreciated. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit the area.“

„This is a new property in Kastraki, which is a 15 min walk or 5 euro taxi ride from the town of Kalambaka. Kastraki is a small, quaint village at the foot of the monasteries in Meteora. There is a lovely family run restaurant just at the end of the road, and a bakery across the street. The rooms themselves are well designed, modern and comfortable. For a fee, ask about late check out. It’s very much worth it given the transportation options out of Kalambaka. I’d definitely come back again!“

„We absolutely loved our time at Meteora! The house indeed had a majestic view, with even an attached sun room/lounge near the entrance where we could sit and watch the sun rise over the rock formations. Nikolaus was also a wonderful and helpful host. He only spoke Greek and we only spoke English - but all was well with Google Translate. We would definitely recommend this to a group of friends or family!“

„This home is exactly as pictured. It is charming and check-in was a breeze. The location was great. Very close to the hiking/walking path to start out hiking trek to the monasteries. This home is well lit up, at night and easy to find. We hope to return someday and I'll definitely try to stay at The Rock and Stone home, again!“

„Petros made the communication very easy and we got a lot of information in advance. Once we arrived, we started feeling comfortable in the house and wanted to stay longer. The view is beautiful, the house is well equipped and the town centre is only a walk away. We enjoyed table tennis in the basement and the short distance to the monasteries. Back at home, we cooked in the kitchen or relaxed on the comfortable couches. Everything was as expected or even better.“
