„We loved our stay in Solway Breeze. The cabin was much larger than we were expecting. It was clean, comfy and lots of extra touches like milk in the fridge made it a great break away. The garden was secure and perfect for the dogs. With there just being the two cabins it was peaceful and lovely. It has been such a lovely relaxing stay. Thank you.“

„Lovely caravan which was very clean and dog friendly. Well stocked including bowls for doggy. Communication from the owners was excellent. They even sent us a list of dog friendly walks some with dog friendly pubs. Lovely dog friendly pub Mason Arms just across the road from the camp where they let doggy sit under the table whilst owners had a meal. It was a small caravan site which was quiet and well laid out just what we needed.“

„Delightful cabin in a peaceful setting. However, I was trying to escape fireworks for my terrified dog and instead had 2 stressful nights of loud fireworks. A country locale is not always the answer.“

„We would like to express our gratitude for the wonderful time. It was our first family vacation. We spent almost 3 weeks in the lodge, along with our 21-month-old daughter and our dog. The lodge is very clean and well-equipped. It is beautifully situated in a small, peaceful cluster of holiday homes, right on the border of fields and the forest. „This was a great break in a gorgeous property. Everything was as described, including the facilities and location / proximity to the beach. I had no concerns about the dogs in the garden with the high and fully secure fence and all rooms were spacious to accommodate us. This was our third stay in Southerness and most certainly the best property we have stayed in. We will be back.“

Wonderfull first Family Vacation
"We would like to express our gratitude for the wonderful time. It was our first family vacation. We spent almost 3 weeks in the lodge, along with our 21-month-old daughter and our dog. The lodge is very clean and well-equipped. It is beautifully situated in a small, peaceful cluster of holiday homes, right on the border of fields and the forest. We were regularly greeted in the morning by cows, who would stretch their heads over the fence into the garden to welcome us. The lodge is nestled in the heart of nature, yet very well connected to the nearby town of Dumfries, offering a fantastic starting point for a multitude of activities. The owner provides a whole basket of brochures, but it's also worth inquiring about current events at the tourist information in Dumfries. There's plenty to do for children. The Mabie Farm Park is less than 2 miles away, and our daughter absolutely loved it. Furthermore, everyone there is extremely dog-friendly, which touched us deeply and was truly heartwarming.
