Families will enjoy a trip to the National Trust’s Guildhall, just metres from the property, where vibrant exhibitions, the intriguing Little Hall Museum and the village’s 14th-century church await. More rural Suffolk charm is on offer in the picture-postcard village of Long Melford (5 miles) where you can visit the imposing Melford Hall and explore its 17th-century banquet house, impressive walled gardens and tranquil parkland. Culture vultures will savour a visit to the historic market town of Bury St Edmunds (12 miles), while lovers of the outdoors can easily pass a day discovering the natural beauty of the Dedham Vale National Landscape (8 miles).

Be greeted by the social hub of the home, the lounge/diner, where an attractive ornamental fireplace sets the scene for relaxation. Here, rest weary walking muscles on the comfy sofas as you flick on the Smart TV and catch up on your favourite shows.
