Oceanfront Getaway

This pristine piece of heaven is just what you are looking for, seconds from the beach, the, pool, restaurants, bike and surf rentals or just sit outside and gaze at the majestic sunrise or you can walk upstair and watch the spectacular sunset In the many condo's that are ocean front listed they are long walks to the ocean, not mine, it is a 2minute walk so carrying beach toys is a breeze. The beach is fine white sand and great for a leisurely walk. Beachers has a large heated pool for those that prefer not
to get sandy. We have restaurants, bikes, surfboard, paddle boards, kayaks and bars all within a five minute walk. St Augustine is full of night life in the historical area and on the island, enjoy live music and concerts almost every week end. Enjoy a good night sleep on a brand new comfy king bed. I am also
very close so if you need help I try to make myself available. This is my home away from home so if your not enjoying it I probably am. Come enjoy lovely crescent beach and all the great people at Beachers.

The Truth…not good!

We were very disappointed especially after reading so many glowing reviews about this property. The truth is, nothing besides the location is worthy of this trip. My husband and I were only able to last one night of our five night trip. The place was musty and it was difficult to breathe comfortably inside this property. The owner, has an air purifier/dehumidifier to help with the odor, but it simply did not help the musty smell. The dishes and silverware were dingy and dirty, so we had to go out and buy plastic cups to drink out of. Also, the towels that were provided to us had a musty smell to them too, which made them difficult to use. We felt like we walked into the 70’s. Everything except the sofa and bed should be updated. Everything else looked very run down.We knew we were in trouble when we noticed that the property owner didn’t even have a toilet paper holder. The toilet paper was just simply laying on the toilet.We barely made it through one night before having to vacate and relocate to a different hotel on a different beach. Unfortunately, after stating our concerns about the musty smell to the property owner, she did not return any more of our messages and would not refund any of our money. We do not write reviews like this, but we felt like you should know the truth about this property before you invest your time and money.

Perfect place to spend your vacation

We stayed at this condo for two weeks and we loved everything about it.The views of the ocean from the patio are incredible and we spent every moment we weren’t out and about doing something there, watching sunrises, sunsets, surfers and rolling waves.The condo is perfectly located between many attractions, restaurants and a short drive to downtown St. Augustine. Our host, Deena, was awesome and made sure we were having a good time and checked in to see if we needed anything. We will definitely be back - this time for a longer stay though.

On the beach!

This small condo complex is right on Crescent Beach. Watch sunrise from your own private patio. Very nice! King bed was very comfortable and all quiet neighbors when we were there.

Weekend trip to see St. Augustine at Christmas

My husband I enjoyed our stay while we visited all of St Augustine. Deena was great to work with and seemed to very much care about our stay. The place looks right out to the ocean which was very nice. The simplicity of it all worked nicely for the two of us!

Perfect Stay

Thank you Deena for being the perfect Host , always available for questions or any needs. The condo is very neat ,super clean, and very homey. Perfect for a beach getaway right on the ocean. Just the right amount of space. An array of new appliances made it easy to have cooking options and stay in! Appreciated the extra TV in the bedroom, a very comfortable king size bed, and great air conditioning. The view from the private patio is spectacular of the ocean and the gorgeous natural vegetation on the dunes. The large swimming pool is beautiful , clean with lots of comfy chairs to hang out on. Appreciated the outdoor showers, a hose for cleaning off my dog and the nice walkway right out to the beach. There are laundry facilities, vending machines and elevators to the upper floors. Love that this place is pet friendly. Surprisingly, even though there are several condos in this building, it was very peaceful, private, and quiet. The management staff are courteous ,friendly, and ready to help with any questions, and keep the condo grounds immaculate. Would definitely come back and rent from Deena.

The views of the ocean from this property are amazing. The king size bed is very comfortable and the condo was clean. The pool is nice and is large enough to handle a crowd. The owner is very pleasant and accessible. Would stay again.

Quaint and quiet. Pool was less than a one minute walk from the unit and the beach was only two minutes. Unit was clean and well decorated with the beach theme. We will be back.

Very nice place

We stayed for five days. It was beautiful. The condo was exactly how it was described. Plenty of space. The couch in the living room was very comfortable. Kitchen was equipped well ,we enjoy it .Getting in touch at Deena It was very easy. Will come again.

The condo was a bit old and frayed. Although the bed was comfortable it really needed new bedding and pillows. The comforter looked really old. After getting settled in i noticed my feet were dirty as well as my husband's. The floor was dirty so I mopped it up. No oven in the kitchen not a single knife that would cut well. Mismatched flea market furniture. Not what we paid top dollar for. The condo units could also be rented out by a management company onsite. There were three levels...bronze silver and gold. According to the folks we talked to and the other units we saw we were paying more for less. Book with the condo management directly and get a gold unit...it will have more amenities in the unit and be priced better. We enjoyed our stay despite these issues but just felt others should know what you're getting for your money

a perfect quiet getaway

Highly recommend - I vacationed during the week of June 4th, 2017. I had stayed at Beacher's Lodge several times before, but this was my first time in Unit 120. The owner's unit was very well maintained and spotless upon my arrival (and I love that the bathroom exits to both the main hall AND the bedroom - not all of the units are arranged with the extra door between the bath and the bedroom - a welcome extra layer of privacy). Even though 120 is on the first floor, I had a great view of the ocean waves while sipping my coffee on the living room couch in the mornings. Deena was very easy to reach (we talked once before I arrived), but I never needed to call her while vacationing - everything was arranged for a supremely easy check-in and check-out. I used the wi-fi on a daily basis and it was absolutely reliable the entire time I was there. The beach in this area is very wide, wonderful for long walks, and most importantly, although it is near a public access point, is never crowded. The accomodations along this part of the beach are all houses and small condominiums (none more than 4 stories high), so traffic is also minimal. While this part of the beach is nicely quiet, grocery stores are only a ten minute drive (Publix and Winn-Dixie) as well as restaurants and other retail areas. There is a wonderfully large Barnes and Noble bookstore less than 20 minutes away. Also, for those last minute inexpensive beach purchases, a Dollar Store is about five minutes down the road (tastefully located in a strip shopping center). A perfect vacation spot for a getaway.

Great, relaxing trip!

We had a wonderful time at Deena's condo at beacher's lodge. The view was great and sitting out on the patio we saw lizards and turtles and watched pelicans dive and fly around the shore. The pool was great and well maintained, the beach was easily accessible and very clean. The condo was very clean and the perfect size for myself, my husband and my dog. Deena made sure she was available for anything we needed. This seems like a good location for relaxing as there was little to no noise and no partiers. The location was a 20 min drive to st Augustine to explore and there are yummy restaurants within walking distance. We'd for sure book again!

Great beach access and pet-friendly!

Relaxing vacation on an amazing beach. Pet-friendly property and the ground unit was very convenient when it came to taking our dog outside. Condo was clean and we didn't have any issues. Deena made everything very simple as far as access and parking permits. Would definitely stay again.

Older, well-maintained facility away from the maddening crowd.

The facility was relaxed, low rise (four floors) surrounnded by homes, not condo buildings. Nice pool, but shaded by the building in the mid afternoon (most beach front buildings do). Convenient to get in and out and up and down the coast (e.g. St. Augustine). Nice beach - one block from the car access ramp, but no parking directly in front of the facility. Ours was one of the larger units in the complex, but still limited in size. OK for two, a stretch for three or more (i.e. sofa bed), small bathroom, and a queen-size bed. Kitchen is small but functional, fairly well equipped. A dish washer would be nice for those who eat in a lot. There is no land phone, except in the front office; we had trouble getting cell phone reception, even outside. Laundry facilities are limited and away from the unit - not a problem for a short stay. All in all the unit was comfortable, clean, and the guests and staff were friendly. The owner is ten minutes away for any issues - we had none. Check-in and out was easy - lock box. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the unit to a couple. St. Augustine is a great place to visit. Good golf, beaches , restaurants, and shops. Weather was good in March.
