The Space:
Really cute 1-bedroom condo #604 on the 6th floor with an elevator that is truly set up for families at Gulfview in complex 2.
This condo offers a partial beach view from the private outdoor patio, and the common area patio on the 6th floor provides a really great view of SpaceX launches.
Gulfview features one of the nicest pool areas on the Island that is not beachfront. The large pool, heated hot tub, and several community charcoal BBQ pits outside (bring charcoal if you’d like to use) along with plenty of shaded picnic tables, make it truly unique for the Island. One of the most common questions we get is, "Can we BBQ?" The answer is YES!
The full-sized, fully equipped kitchen for our guests was recently remodeled, as shown in the pictures, with granite counters. The open-concept kitchen flows to the living room.
The condo has smart TVs for your app accounts to wind down with movies after a long day at the beach.
The complex has an elevator, so you don't have to climb stairs unless you choose to. There is a community laundry area. One off-street parking space is provided.
While the condo accommodates up to 6 people, we feel the space is best suited for 2 couples with 2 children or a couple with 4 kids at max. There are 2 double beds plus a small couch and a double-sized airbed and pump provided. Please bring extra bedding if you plan to use the airbed or someone is crashing on the couch.
We provide linens and towels, but not beach towels. The kitchen has all utensils and dishes needed.
For work, there is high-speed WiFi in the condo as well as a dining room table or counter to work off of though spectrum internet can be spotty at times.
Gulfview II is superior to Gulfview I in our opinion as less HOA hassles.
It is important to read and agree to all house rules prior to booking. Message us with questions before booking, not after. We allow a maximum of one dog; please read the house rules for extra requirements
The condo is professionally managed locally by South Padre Trips at 2600 Padre Blvd 78597, and we provide towels, linens, and a starter pack of soaps, trash bags, and dishwasher pods though it is not unlimited nor replenished.
Our listing requires the primary tenant to be 25 years of age or older to book and be present at check-in. You must contact us prior to booking if you are not 25, as there are no exceptions if you do not, although additional requirements may apply.
Please take note that we require an e-sign rental agreement with an attached photo ID after booking is made. This is to maintain our City of South Padre Island Rental License. Sign the agreement via Docusign before arrival to receive a door code. Provide your email address and photo ID to age verify as 25 years of age or older. If you are not 25, we do not allow you to book unless you contact us first.
The security wristband fee that is required is $25 per person. It is fully refundable.
That is due prior to check-in. They have to return the wristbands and the parking permit to our office to receive the refund if they cannot leave it in the unit

We do have a drop box if after hours. You must return the parking permit and all wristbands to receive a refund. Anything missing will be charged $25 for each missing item.
During March and Easter weekend The wristband fees are completely nonrefundable. They also are not optional. Alternatively, if you don't wish to pay us, you can pay Security direct in all Cash and the security bands actually cost more if you do it that way, but that's up to you as a guest. it's not our fee.
