This newly remodeled, clean, and cheerful six bedroom, four-and-a-half-bathroom ocean-view house sleeps up to 22 people and has front and back decks to hear the ocean on every floor!

You will find harmony on this tranquil part of the island and can admire the sunrise, sunset, inlet, and the ocean from this three-story home. This dog-friendly, newly decorated house nestled in the private community of Dolphin Shores boasts a beach access and three stories, each with its own living area with ample comfortable seating, rainy day activities, and smart TVs. There is a private hot tub, two outdoor showers (front and back), large newly fenced in backyard with full-sized volleyball/badminton court, a fire pit, and a charcoal grill. Plenty of safe outdoor space for everyone (including pets) to enjoy! Welcome to “Aah to Zen,” a completely refreshed home on North Topsail Beach, NC.

Smart TVs are also in each of the six bedrooms and all three living areas ready for you to sign on to your favorite streaming apps. Two of the bedrooms, one on the first floor and one on the second floor, are large king suites with luxury mattresses and private bathrooms. Other bedrooms include two more on the first floor and another two on the third floor, enough room and separation for several families.

The house sits on a quiet cul-de-sac right across from the private community beach access, offering a safe, short walk to the sand and sea (15 steps from the property to the beach access). This part of the island will lend you a serene beach stay with an array of restaurants, bars, and shops only a short drive away, but not close enough to cause a loud, busy vibe. This house boasts two outdoor showers (front and back of house) and plenty of covered storage for beach chairs and toys; there is also ample parking with three driveways and parking for up to 14 cars.

The staircase at the front of the house will guide you to the first floor which boasts a large living room, three bedrooms (one king en-suite, one queen, and a queen and twin with an extra twin trundle bed under the queen bed), two bathrooms (one with double sinks), and a separate laundry room so you may return home with clean clothes. There is also a back deck with a staircase leading in to the large fenced-in yard as well as a front deck with shaded spaces to sit, relax, and enjoy the ocean views.

The second floor is the heart of the home with a sitting area perfect for yoga or reading, a large living room with ocean views, one king en-suite bedroom with a futon, and two bathrooms. It is also home to the well-stocked kitchen, a gourmet chef’s dream, with a Keurig bar, coffee grinder, Vitamix, stainless steel appliances, a dining area with a large table that seats eight, and additional seating (up to 14) at the kitchen bar and central island. Adults can enjoy a glass of wine in the ocean-view living room while the kids play games a short distance away upstairs. On the main floor front deck, there is also a large outdoor table with long benches that seat 14 people along with Captain’s Chairs to enjoy that morning sunrise with a cup of coffee. On the back deck, there are Adirondack chairs to watch the sunset over the sound. The sitting area has a sectional sofa with full/queen pullout for extra guests.

The third floor, a child’s dream, has two bedrooms (one queen with a twin, one with two twins) and, a large sitting area perfect for games, jigsaws, or snack time, another bathroom, and an office/reading or game nook well-stocked with board games and books. One of the sofas offers a queen bed pullout for extra guests. Children will love the bright colors and ocean life décor while they create lifelong memories. If you have a whale lover in your midst, they will love the whale themed décor of the twin room (which also boasts some of the best sea views in the house). There is also a great deck with Captain’s chairs that provide 180-degree ocean views; a wonderful spot to watch an unforgettable sunrise or just enjoy the ocean without having to set foot on the sand!

At “Aah to Zen”, we know your fur babies are a part of the family, and we welcome your pampered pooches (up to 2) for an additional fee per pet. The large fenced-in back yard and ability to bring dogs on the beach year-round make North Topsail Beach an excellent choice for the whole family. We are located on an amazing stretch of beach that allows for long walks towards either Surf City or the sound/inlet, a paradise for dogs. Dogs can also find great shade on any of the front and back decks.

The private hot tub area has a large 8-person Vita hot tub with LED color-changing lights, a waterfall, and a variety of jets to massage any troubles away. This walled-in space includes a fridge, bar and seating, and allows the air to flow through the top trellis or the barn door, allowing you privacy as you enjoy the sound of the waves. There is an outdoor shower nearby at the front, or you can wander to the back where there is another outdoor shower. In the large backyard, you can also enjoy the fire pit and/or grill out (charcoal park grill) or even play badminton/volleyball, or cornhole. There really is something for everyone here!

At check-in, guest will be given a CHECK-IN PACKET that will include: WiFi information, keys or key code whichever applies, parking passes, pool passes (if required), any additional house rules if applicable, directions to property, emergency contact information, things to do info sheet, and check-out procedures. PLEASE DO NOT GO DIRECTLY TO THE PROPERTY BEFORE CHECK-IN AS IT WILL ONLY DELAY THE PROCESS FOR YOU. IF HOUSEKEEPERS OR INSPECTORS SEE CARS IN THE DRIVEWAY, THEY WILL MOVE ON TO THE NEXT HOUSE AND YOU MAY MISS YOUR EARLY ROTATION WITH CLEANING/INSPECTING.

Outstanding Beach Home - Ideal Common Area Set-Up

Spent July 4 Week, and really enjoyed the house - which can make or break a one-week beach vacation. What we liked a lot: - Common areas (3) allowed all plenty of space to relax in small groups - Decks; always found breeze and shade - Half bath off kitchen ideal - Decor seemed higher end than we usually see in a large beach rental home - Proximity to beach awesome What could have been better: - Grill was basically a campground model not suited for groups; this should be replaced - While having large 2nd fridge was nice, its location made it only useful for beverages for beach - Door to beach-side deck is extremely heavy, so recommend replacing handle with industrial model to ensure durability - Renters need to know the beach is only about 10 yards deep at high tide, creating a "high tide squeeze"
