Place says non-smoking environment but it smells like cigarettes

The hotel was very accommodating. I got the king size bed that I was supposed to have. on Friday night, just before I was about to leave on my trip to the hotel I had been told that my king size bed was no longer available but when I checked in, they made it available to me. I am very pleased with the outcome.

The front desk staff were nice and welcoming. When we initially got the room, I didn’t notice much of anything out of order, however, after coming out of the shower, I was informed there was no trashcan in the room, which was strange, but not a dealbreaker, since we were only staying one night. As we settled in for the evening, we noticed that the nightstand had small roaches crawling around, and when we jumped up to inspect the rest of the room, it was discovered that all of the wood furnishings had roaches crawling around it, and also along the walls. It was too late to try to find other accommodations so because we didn’t find any on the bed, we stayed the night, but needless to say, we did not eat or drink anything during the duration of our night and got out of there as early as we could the next morning. This hotel has great potential. However, they have a pest control issue that they need to address.

Clean lobby. However, many issues. Late breakfast! Not all food available that was supposed to be available. Have to pay for pet, but room is less comfortable because of having a pet. Should be a middle ground available. Our 15 pound pet is not noisy until the 100 pound pets are barking. Floors in room with pets are sticky. As far as tv, have NO idea what channels are available or what can be seen. Some staff great, some couldn’t care less about customer.

The woman who checked me in (I’m sorry I don’t remember her name even though I’ve seen her almost every time I stay there. She wears a black head dressing) is always absolutely a pleasure. I can tell she enjoys her job and makes sure I have a good experience and clean room. However, around 12am a group of about 4 maybe 5 men were standing in front of the hotel outside the lobby and were SO LOUD!! I was in room 211 right out front. This went on for over an hour. I repeatedly called the front desk and staff only answered once. For about 30 mins the men went away then a little after 1am I could hear them laughing and yelling “gang gang” and other things. I was visiting for a work trip and did not get much sleep.

Everything was clean and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The food was good, but my husband was a little disappointed there was no bacon.

This hotel is the worst place to stay. There was water leaking from the bathroom sink.Tge phone was not working in the room. The elevator was broken down multiple times and I had to walk up five flights of stairs twice during my stay. The room was not clean. There were stains on the headboard of the bed. The carpets were not vacuumed and part of the carpet was coming out of the wall. The lady at the front desk gave me a key to someone else's room when I first got there and I walked in on that person. Smh...... I was only giving half of my refund back and when I should have been given the whole amount back after this awful experience. This hotel seriously needs to be investigated and I would highly recommend that no one stay at this place given the poor conditions. The elevators should not consistently be out of order because if there is a handicapped person they will not be able to go up all those stairs and no customer should have to go at five flights upstairs twice and deal with leaks coming from the sinks, carpets coming out of walls and a filthy room. The lady that worked at the front desk when I checked in told me that it is not her responsibility or in her job description to clean rooms after the maid leaves. DO NOT GET A ROOM AT LA QUINTA BY WYNHAM in White Marsh. This place is a nightmare!

The property is not bad but they don't clean, the room was dirty and beddings had stains, there was no toilet paper and we had to go and ask for toilet paper. But the lady at front desk was nice.

Found bedbugs in bed and no one seem to care when told or offered me any compensation. Had to return home and get rid of everything I’m suitcase.
