„Kula Maya was very nice, clean and had a good selection of foods. The pool area is much smaller than it looks in the pictures and it only has 4 lounge chairs. The room was cleaned very nicely and the location is very close to the dock. Transportation set up by the hotel was pricey. “

„The house is dirty, smells humid, dust everywhere, no hot water after 1 minute of shower, no a/c, everything is old and outdated, sheets and towels were stained, it’s in the middle of nowhere in the jungle. We found a scorpion in the bedroom. „This hotel in villas was an oasis of calm a block away from the clamor of the main road. Waking up to Birdsong is one memory I will cherish in this place. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast good too. It’s located about a 10 minute walk from the Atitrans shuttle stop or the Embarcadero, and about 15 minutes from the public beach. I recommend this for anyone thinking of staying in Panajachel.“
