Loved our stay

Overall loved the property have stayed before. We can tell they were in transition as bedding and deoceations we’re everywhere. Lint from the dryer made a big mess but loved 2 fridges. Beds for 4 in 2 of the rooms and cot in the closet. Would have liked dressers in both rooms even if was in closet overall would be back thank you

Disappointing

I will be leaving a truthful review of the property and issues we had with the management company and their lack of concern in fixing the issues reported. 1. The left front stove burner did not work, it being the larger burner and the fact that we cook for our family we invited with us on this vacation made it especially inconvenient. We were told that a part needed to be ordered and it would not be fixed during our stay. 2.The bathtub in the master bedroom did not hold water for bathing, there was a constant leak. It was not repaired during our stay. 3.The bathtub in the hall to the right on entering the unit did not hold water. It was reported but was not repaired during our stay. 4. The bathtub on the left upon entering the unit had a tub with a plugged drain and the water drained out extremely slow. This was not repaired during our stay. 5. The kitchen was not clean when we entered the unit the tops of drawers and cabinet doors had dried food and dust on them. I wiped them down with Lysol wipes. Very disappointing. 6. The balcony floor was disgusting, after baths we went out to enjoy the breeze and everyone had to wash their feet again before going to bed. We reported the issue and were told someone was going to come out and clean that floor the day and nobody came that afternoon. 7 the bed in a room squeaked and screws were loose. 8. Master toilet squealed all night repair changed something stopped squealing still leaked. 9. Floor flooded on last night wetting room.

We won’t be back!

1. Cleaning/bed sheets- The condo was not as clean as you would think for paying a cleaning fee. None of the 7 beds were made when we arrived. (Who wants to make 7 beds on vacation)The floors were very sandy on the other side of the beds. Dishes had to be rewashed because the previous person or cleaners did not wash but put in the cabinets. 2. Key/code- I have never rented a condo that did not have a code but instead you have to retrieve keys at the management office. ( super inconvenient) This was only in the fine print of the contract that can easily be missed. The welcome packet email only states to retrieve from office. We assumed office was at resort. Therefore, we waited through orange beach traffic to turn around and go right back through it again. 3. beach- walk to the beach and shuttle is very deceiving. The website appears to look awesome even though you’re not directly on the beach. However, the walkway where the shuttle drops you off is VERY FAR!! Also it is in the pass where red flag is consistent 4.Arrival/Departure- contract states that they would call if the room was available early. Nope. No phone call. Mentioned for us to let them know if we left earlier because a couple extra hours would help out the cleaners. Insinuating that it would be better to leave a couple hours before 10. 5. Indoor pool-yuck- smells bad and very small Plus was two refrigerators!

1213 B has a great view of the Gulf and the overall condo offers everything needed for sleeping, cooking and relaxing. Caribe offers many amenities for all the family to enjoy and have great vacation!!! Highly recommend

This resort is AMAZING! So many things for the kids to do! They were never bored! The unit was very spacious and clean! Fitness Center was great! Lots of equipment to use, lots of space to workout in We will definitely be back!

Last minute change to new location

Our original booking was a condo on the beach. Prop Mgr moved us the night before we left for the vacation to a property not on the beach. (sad face) The reason we picked Prop #1 was, it had 2 master suites, whereas prop #2 only had one master suite. So the 2nd couple had to sleep in bunk room. (bummer) The Grounds, pools, pickleball, all good. Cleanliness of the unit was a 3 at best. (it could use some cleaning) The reason we came to Orange Beach was to be 'on the beach' and our 2nd was not on the beach.. (sad face)
