The Urban Family Retreat features a main house, guest space, tiny home, and a big private yard with two fire pits, string lights and eating areas.

Centrally located and right off the highway just minutes from the zoo, CHI Center, TD Ameritrade Park, Midtown Crossing, Blackstone District, the Old Market and countless amazing restaurants!
The space
Welcome to The Urban Family Retreat! We hope you love it as much as we do!

Our home is 100 years old filled with unique thrifted finds and DIY decor. We put so much love and thought into each space. The main house features a full sized kitchen and dining room, a spacious living room, sitting area on the enclosed front porch, a full bathroom, and 3 bedrooms!

All bedroom doors lock, and keys are provided for your convenience. :)

Through the yard you will find a side entrance to an additional guest room and bathroom. On your way there you will pass the Garden Shed - a sweet and unique space transformed into an adorable tiny home with a rustic cabin vibe.

The yard is filled with string lights, fire pits, and a picnic table.

Please be sure to review the guest access and that the sleeping arrangement works for your group :)

In this house, we went from a newlywed couple to a family :) Our son took his first steps in these walls, many boo-boos have been kissed, and holiday parties had. So many memories! We recently moved out and are so excited to share this place with you!

You will have access to the entire property!

A total of 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3 queen beds, 1 full bed, 1 twin, and 4 twin sized Japanese futons.

There is a full size kitchen, dining room, living room, porch lounge, and a large outdoor space enclosed by a privacy fence. Two fire pit areas with sectional seating, a picnic table, and bistro set.

Please note: The jacuzzi tub is no longer offered. The bathroom will be shower only until further notice. Thank you!
