„We stayed here for my son’s graduation weekend from Emory & Henry. It’s a bit of a ways to campus, but that worked fine for us. The place is beautifully appointed, incredibly comfy mattresses, and an amazing location with the sound of the river flowing all around. While this cottage is beautiful, and a peaceful respite in a town that has recently experienced the ravages of Hurricane Helene... be forewarned... you will find yourself surrounded by the MAGA faithful at this location. „Perfect little cabin to stay while visiting Damascus area. Very clean with all the comforts of home. Close to town and Creeper Trail. Would definitely stay again. “

„A single family house with nice sized fenced-in yard. Furnishings were simple but more than adequate. Location is the big appeal to this property, right in town with the major bike rental outfitters for Creeper Trail literally across the street.As of April 2025, the community is still rebuilding from Helene damage, but still has plenty on offer in Damascus, nearby Abingdon with the Barter Theater, historic downtown and nice restaurants.
