Please also acknowledge the following:

1. Based on past experiences, we do not host groups who are all 21 years of age or younger. If your group is 21 years of age or younger, please do not place a reservation without written pre-approval from us. Failure to do so will result in termination of your reservation.

2. Locals are not allowed to place a booking without pre-approval from us. This is to prevent nearby residents from using our property as a party house.

3. Please note that we only release door codes to the person who booked the reservation, and you must provide valid, government issued photo ID.

4. All guests must be accounted for in the reservation. This means all guests entering the property at any point in time counts as a guest. In other words, the definition of a guest is not limited to only those people planning on sleeping inside the property, but to all guests planning to be inside at any given time. For example, if 6 people are going to “hang out” inside, but only 2 people plan on sleeping over, then the guest count selecting during the booking should be “6” not “2.” Any extra guests not disclosed before arrival will lead to an immediate termination of the reservation or an additional charge of $30 per person. We will seek compensation for any damages that are found upon our subsequent inspection of the property.

5. We may need to ask for your driver's license for verification during the check-in process.

6. No parties/events. We have close relationships with our neighbors, and we respect their rights as homeowners. Therefore, we will know if parties are being held. If this rule is not followed, your reservation will be terminated, and we will seek compensation for any damages that are found upon our subsequent inspection of the property.

7. Not for commercial use or special occasions without pre-approval (weddings, bachelor parties, birthdays, commercials, bridal showers, photoshoots, etc.). We will consider your request if you request in advance. Failure to request in advance will lead to termination of your reservation.

8. Please note that this is a smoke-free/drug free environment. If any smoking/vaping/drugs are detected either within the retreat or in the common areas, we will immediately terminate the reservation and we will seek compensation for any damages that are found upon our subsequent inspection of the property.

9. No excessive noise or loud music. Quiet hours are 10 pm to 8 am. If any noise complaints are reported by neighbors or detected, your reservation will be terminated, and we will seek compensation up to $1,000 for any damages that are found upon our subsequent inspection of the property.

It's not perfect but I and my friend enjoy our stay. And very close to the lake which lots of activities in the summertime.thanks to the host very accomodating and friendly.We will love to comeback and stay i the future again.

Disappointing Experience

This trip was a Mom's Get Away. From start to finish the process was stressful & disappointing. The lack of transparency from the start was lacking. They say it sleeps 12 and there is no way 12 people would be comfortable in the unit. 6 of us was a tight fit. The kitchen is not remotely equipped to the standard degree of what we expect from VRBO. We found a frying pan with dried fried omelet on it in the pantry. A cutting board that had mold growing in it. Wood was split & it was disgusting. We had to wash all the dishes as they were filthy & sticky. The microwave had no plate to heat up food. We had to request cutlery & kitchen utensils to be able to cook. Thank goodness I brought a wine opener & seasoning, etc. All they had was salt & pepper. They barely had enough dinner plates for our group. No serving dishes, etc. There was hair in bathroom drawers & floors Holes in walls. We have never had such a cringy, disappointing experience. This place is not the quality we have come to expect from VRBO. That being said, the picture that is shown is of a the White building that is on the beach is not what they should be using as advertising for this property. That is another building. We were shocked to find our unit was on an inside road facing a lot with RVs. No water view. However, we will thank 'Eric' who came through for us with cooking utensils, bedding, a new microwave etc. Needless to say we will not be recommending this host aandaccomodations.
