In the breezeway into the apartment is seating for 10, a gas fireplace and TV for a perfect place to view games on the weekend. The home is across from Cole's Restaurant and The Canteen open for dining. The Moreland Pool complex is there as well with free form pool and spa plus a lap pool in a separate space. Walking trails and biking trails lead from the home all over the 20000-acre development of Palmetto Bluff. Bikes and golf carts are available for rent from the Montage recreation center or locally in Bluffton. PB has boating and fishing and guided trips to Daufuskie or Hilton Head by both the Wilson Landing Marina and from PB Outdoors on property. Golf can be arranged and the lovely May River Golf Course, a Jack Nicklaus Signature course or the Crossroads 9-hole reversible course designed by King Collins. Shooting club and Equestrian center offer sporting clays and horseback for those so inclined. Tennis and pickleball are in Wilson Village with first class courts and easy access with reservations.

Bring your fishing gear! Inland ponds are loaded with largemouth bass, and it is a short distance to the Moreland Landing dock to fish for reds and sea trout in Cauley Creek. If you bring your mountain bike or hybrid bike you can ride the trails from here to Wilson Village through River Road Preserve. An untouched wilderness along the marsh and live oak forest. And of course, bring your clubs and racquets for golf and tennis or racquetball. If you are here long enough you can travel to Bluffton, Hilton Head or Savannah (20, 40 and 40 minutes respectively). So, in addition to the restaurants on property, you check out dining in Bluffton, HHI and Savannah. The tours of Savannah would be a great afternoon and then early dinner before heading back?
