The hotel is in an interesting spot with a zoo, rose garden and winery (already closed when we came) to explore. Upon arrival the receptionist wasn’t able to leave the reception. As a result we had to deal with unloading our four suitcases and bags ourselves. Upon check-in we realised that our request for connecting rooms wasn’t attended to. One didn’t receive the additional comments made via the Expedia booking. The two Heritage rooms were small and a bit worn down.
Three adults and one child - we had dinner at the hotels award winning restaurant - a main course and a desert each with a few beverages for pricey 280 AUD. This was the ninth stop of our travel through Australia with staying at fuve star hotels and eating out in top restaurants. We didn’t think this particular dinner was value for money. My wine glass was dirty and had to be returned.

Sehr schönes Hotel. Schöne Zimmer und ein tolles Frühstück. Auch der Service war sehr gut. Wirklich zu Empfehlen.
