The Space:
* Please note - this is a quiet residential complex . It is not appropriate for groups of friends wanting to get together to socialise and there is a strict excess noise policy which is enforced and with fines. For those wanting a quiet spot - it's perfect!
We have a lovely 2 bedroom luxury apartment in the heart of the Auckland Viaduct harbour. A modern, well equipped kitchen or a short stroll to the city's leading restaurants.
Both bedrooms have high quality, comfortable king sized beds, a large wardrobe and an ensuite. The bathroom includes amenities such as a hairdryer, shampoo, bodywash and other little niceties you'd find at home.
The booking includes a secure car park underneath the building - please book this in if required at the time of booking. Extra parking is available across the road at the public car park.
Our house is your house! You are welcome to make use of the kitchen including the basics that are there.
For any extra supplies (or beer and wine!) you may need there is a Countdown Metro supermarket immediately opposite the complex as well as various other eateries and coffee etc!
The living room is equipped with a big screen smart TV, AC unit and large comfortable sofa (which converts to a queen bed and a balcony to enjoy the Auckland sunshine; or occasionally four seasons in one day...
Wynyard Quarter is the heart of luxury harbour side living in Auckland. We have a range of cafes, restaurants and bars nearby.
The city, ferries, trains, Britomart and the CBD are all close and Vector Arena about a 2km walk. Ponsonby shopping and restaurants are about 2km in the other direction.
Public transport is at your doorstep with the area well service by the city bus network. The Britomart train station and harbour ferries are about a 1.5km walk (flat and easy!)
We do apologise, but the apartment isn't suitable for pets or parties and there is a strict policy around noise (including fines for breaches by the body corporate)
Guest Access:
The apartment is yours in its entirety. Full access to gym, pool, spa and sauna. Wynyard Quarter and waterfront about 20 metres from the apartment!
The car park is complimentary, but it does need to be booked in advance. Just send us a message via airbnb to let us know if you need it or not!
The Neighborhood:
This is a beautiful spot where the viaduct basin laps the edge of the building right up to the edge of the indoor pool.
Minutes walk from one of the hottest night spots in Auckland. The viaduct harbour is well developed in anticipation of the upcoming Americas cup yacht racing with top class restaurants boutique breweries/bars and a stones throw from new and exciting Wynyard quarter.
So centrally located between upmarket Sofitel boutique hotel and the brand new Hyatt waterfront hotel, this property is so quiet you could mistakenly think you are on your own. Light warm airy and quiet with great amenities. You couldn't ask for more.
Getting Around:
There is the SkyBus to and from the Airport, or via taxi. For trains, busses, and ferries: Britomart bus and train station/Wynyard Wharf Ferry Terminal and Downtown Pier 4. You can also use the Lime Scooters to get around the city, as well as Uber (or Zoomy – NZ’s version of Uber).
Other Things to Note:
Monthly Stays: We have a 10% discount factored into the price if you book for 28 nights or more.
Key Pick-Up: The key will need to be picked up from a secure location in the Viaduct (16 Market Place), which is a 10 minute walk or 3 min drive away from the apartment. They provide 24/7 access to keys via lockboxes. Please double-check if this suits you and ask us if you have any questions or concerns before booking. They also have free WiFi access at Keyp-It in case you need the internet to contact us. We will send you the full check-in instructions on the morning of your arrival date.
Parking: There is a free secure carpark in the building allocated to this apartment. Please inquire before booking.
Personal Check-ins: We can arrange for someone to meet you at the apartment for a $65 fee. Please inquire before booking to check availability - we will need at least two days notice to guarantee someone can meet you.
Check-in Time: Check-in time is after 3pm. If you need to check-in earlier, then please double-check with us first so we can confirm availability.
Housekeeping: We can arrange extra weekly housekeeping during your stay if requested for the same price as the cleaning fee listed per clean. Stays longer than 21 days will be required to have a mid-stay clean at your expense. Please just send us a message if you need extra cleaning as we will need to organise this with the cleaning company we use.
Amenities: We provide a starter pack of amenities to last you the first few days of your stay (6x shampoo, 6x bodywash, 8x tea/coffee, 4x toilet paper rolls, 1 pack of laundry powder, 1 pack of dishwashing powder, dishwashing liquid, cleaning spray and wipes) but you will need to purchase your own amenities after these run out. Please do not take the large refillable bottles provided as we’ll need to charge for replacement.
Linens: We provide a full set of linens for each bed and a face cloth and shower towel per guest. Extra linens can be provided for a fee. Please inquire before your stay.
Checkout Time: Checkout time is at 10am.
This is a professionally managed apartment so you can expect the very best in service, but please note it is not a serviced apartment. As above, weekly housekeeping can still be arranged as an extra service.
Interaction with Guests:
Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm NZ time and we will try to respond to your messages/email as soon as possible. You will be provided with an emergency 24/7 maintenance number as well in case you need that outside of our regular office hours.
