„This is one of the best places that I have ever stayed; the rooms are clean with tons of character. I love the style and the history of the place. There is a yard with a large outdoor kitchen and other fun games and stuff. Great for the kiddos! I'd like to find a reason to go back to the area just so that I can stay at this place again! And the American River is just right down the road (if you don't mind driving a gravel road). Love it and would definitely recommend! “

„We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Plenty of room for our two families. The highlight of our trip was our time spent in their backyard. It is huge, we basically had our own snow park. We built our own snowball battle field and sledding track. The property was not too far from Soda Springs Ski resort and Sugar Bowl. „This was a fantastic house for our group of six to occupy for a week of skiing. Close enough where you could walk to town. And close enough to hit several ski resorts in under 30 min. House was clean, comfortable and well maintained.“

„The pictures are very deceiving. The house needs major updates. It was dirty and there were cobwebs and spiders. No sheets and no curtains in the bathrooms for privacy at all. We could not shower because of the lack of privacy, and we decided to leave a night early because we were so uncomfortable in the house.“

„Overall this was a great house for a weekend trip to the snow. Plenty of space and beds, as well as amazing views. We were an easy drive to Tahoe Donner for skiing, as well as Truckee for restaurants, etc. My feedback would to bring anything you might need for cooking that isn't the appliance or cookware (including oils, condiments, coffee/tea, etc.). Also, do not park in the driveway during the winter. Luckily we didn't, because the plow never came and we would have been stuck.“

„Our group of 16 had an amazing stay here! We are a group of homeschooling families and we all found comfy spots to sleep. The beds and bedding are all comfy and in great condition. Everything was clean and well supplied. Several people in the group love to cook and appreciated the very well-stocked kitchen.
