„Located on the edge of a tiny rural Devon village, this property was the perfect getaway for us and our dog. The village pub is great (although you have to be up for the walk up the steep road to get there), and the property hosts were there if you needed them, totally non-invasive if you didn’t. They left very useful recommendations, which we followed and were not disappointed. The patio area is a lovely sun trap well into the evening. „Wir hatten einen ganz wunderbaren Aufenthalt im "prospect cottage". Die Lage ist prima, der Ort zauberhaft und das Cottage einfach nur wunderbar. Uns fehlte es an nichts! Besonders herauszustellen ist, dass das Cottage sehr sauber war und bestens ausgestattet. In der Nähe ist ein Pub, in dem man gut essen gehen kann. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen.“

„The host was so tentative and welcoming, and then left us to enjoy the lovely property. There were 13 of us and we all had a lovely time. The dining arrangements in the kitchen were great and allowed us to all sit together to eat. The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge area was comfortable. „Adorable and quirky little house, oozing with character. Comfy beds, great location for local shops and restaurants, and as a base to explore the area. Only slight negative for us was getting used to town noises as we live in a village. The Combat Collection at Cobatton, and Instow beach (both recommended by the host) are worth a visit, and my boys (16 & 14) loved outdoor laser tag at Survival Combat Games.“

„The cottage is well equipped and the highlight is the whirlpool outside. We were welcomed with ingredients for a cream tea and enjoyed the quit surroundings. Unfortunately the bathroom was very dirty when we arrived and there were cobwebs in every room so we had to clean the house first. The sofas were worn out and the mattresses in the children's room catastrophic. That's why it's only 3 out of 5 stars although otherwise we had a really good time.“

„Historisches Gebäude mit sehenswerter Halle und Treppenaufgang, wenn auch etwas "abgewohnt". Unser Zimmer war geräumig, aber sehr schlicht eingerichtet und könnte eine Auffrischung gut gebrauchen. Das Hotel liegt mitten in der City und ist mit dem Auto nicht einfach zu finden. Dafür ist dann aber alles bestens zu Fuß zu erreichen, was für uns wesentlich war. Das Auto blieb solange auf dem eher kleinen Parkplatz am Hotel stehen. Insgesamt waren wir mit unserem Aufenthalt zufrieden.“
