Great location and staff. The property was very clean. The only gripe I have is the bed is super hard (and I like a firm mattress). The pillows also left much to be desired but the staff happily gave us extra. Overall, a great value. Even with the bed, I’d probably stay here again as the location makes up for everything.

Didn't go inside, very long queue and from prior experience, the outside is much more impressive than the inside!

Great atmosphere. We found the bars and restaurants around about friendly with excellent service. Good atmosphere at night - often musicians/singers in the side streets.

In August make sure you book early or in advance if you want to go up the dome as you might not be able to go up the day you want to. Unless it's unavoidable don't bother with skip the line.

Very commercial and full of tourists (like us). We managed to find a seat on a bench and just people watched and enjoyed the exterior beauty of the Duomo.
