We rented this apartment for 9 nights, with a goal of getting some idea of what it would be like to live in an ancient Italian hilltop villiage. It didn't disappoint. The apartment is simple, but spacious. There's an absolutely gorgeous view out the kitchen window, and it's located in the heart of Montepulciano. After walking up two flights of stairs, you find a spacious apartment with elevated ceilings. The kitchen is well-appointed and the master bedroom is nice. The air conditioning was more than adequate. There's some nice art work, and the other decorations and furnishings are simple, but functional. The small 2nd bedroom was a great place for my wife and I to put our luggage. There's also a laundry room across the hall with washer/dryer. The owner, Giorgio, was very helpful when the airline lost our luggage and we had to arrange for delivery to Montepulciano, and very responsive on a couple other occasions when we needed his input/assistance.
