„Very helpful owner who brought us cake! The property has everything you need for a group of friends, with 9-10 separate beds. Downside is it is bit cramped - particularly the kitchen and the narrow spiral staircase. But for the price it's great and we'll probably go again.“

Our youngest children really loved playing with the toys at the cottage and older ones appreciated the location of where we were staying. „A beautiful property with wonderful helpful hosts. This is a lovely place to stay and it’s pet friendly. There are stairs but hey it’s an apartment and not a bungalow. It’s unique and all of my party were very impressed by the decor, furnishings and wonderful location overlooking the river and so close to all that Matlock has to offer. 5* all the way. “

It's also very well located with a pub within 5 minutes walk and a fine-dining restaurant just across the road, both of which of we availed ourselves of!“

„We loved this super little cottage, the putting green outside was a pleasant surprise, all finished to a super standard. Nice to have supplied tea / coffee, milk and butter - would be nice to have had a nice local fresh loaf to go with the butter... just a thought! Also would be nice to include some board games, pack of cards for evening entertainment. Overall Lynda was so welcoming and we will be back as we have found a nice haven in the Peaks.“
