Hotel with a hospital atmosphere
Stayed for 4 nights starting on a Friday. Hotel is geared to full boarders who stay for health reasons to make use of the spa. over the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) in the evening only the dining hall with the buffet was operating . Despite assurances that the a la carte restaurant as open to 23:00 it was not operating at 7:00 pm either weekend evening.
The room are clean but the servicing is below standard. The glass in the bathroom was not replaced during the stay or the supplies of soap and shampoo etc not replenished during the whole 4 days. A glass used to drink soda was left on the bed side table for two days before being washed and replaced on the tray with the other clean glasses. This is not a 4 * hotel.
The wireless internet connection in the room was inconsistent, sometimes non-existent so needed to g down to the lobby. The reception is not always permanently staffed. There are no staff, except security before 7:00 am and during the weekend after 5:00pm it was difficult to find someone. This is not a hotel for business people or young people..
