„Very nice stay! We enjoyed the privacy of the cabin with proximity to Lake Lure. The cabin was perfect for our 3 generations: main floor BR for 89-yr old, plus 32-yr old w/ 2 dogs, and 68-yr old middle. Varying needs and all met! One cautionary comment, and the reason for my one 4 star rating (accuracy of listing) - the fenced dog yard is secure and big, but it's very steep (not apparent in the pic), both the yard itself and the access steps. „My husband and I haven’t had an alone vacation in 10 yrs. The cabin is beyond adorable and they had anything we could hane possibly needed there. The town is also very charming we spent most of the first day visiting the local shops - if you’re going to the area stay here!! Especially if it’s a multi day trip- the courtyard is very easily navigated and so comfy. This did not disappoint“

„The cabin is cozy and comfortable, perfect for a couple. We really enjoyed the large jacuzzi in the bedroom. The cabin is very close to Hwy 64 which makes getting around easy but in exchange there is quite a bit of traffic noise. The traffic noise is the only thing that made me give the “location and neighborhood” 3 start. Also, the steps really need a handrail. „The inside of the property was great. Was very disappointed that both decks and the front entryway had obviously not been cleaned for sometime. Cobwebs, dust, and leaves made all of these areas very unattractive. It’s logical to assume that spending time on your decks would be one of the reasons people would choose this condo, and they had not been cleaned for a long time.“

Loading and unloading was very difficult.
