„The hotel has it's own charme, directly located at the Cathedral, nicely polished up (since our last visit in 2007), offers very friendly service. The slightly complicated distribution of rooms is owed to the old historic building. No direct car parking in the vicinity, but unloading an loading possible. We sure will come back “

The room was lovely, and the bed was very comfortable.The place is especially practical if you travel by ferry either direction and it is a five minute walk up to Dover Castle and a 2 min walk to the shopping and leisure park as well as to many restaurants. Perfect spot! Will definitely come again!! “

„My wife and I have been driving around the UK for 2 weeks and found The Tickled Trout to be the best we’ve had. Spotless, The Bed was soo comfortable, Great shower, and the Roast in the restaurant was amazing. We were greeted at check in by Charlie and his female off sider, who both came out to the car park and helped with the baggage. We were taken to our room and shown about. Jeglicher Komfort ist vorhanden und das Frühstück wird von Rod eigenständig liebevoll. Er hat uns mit guten Tipps geholfen, die schöne Gegend mit dem Fahrrad zu erkunden. „A clean, well-run place. I booked at the last minute, so the email with information on accessing the place was sent by email while I was on the train. Wifi on the train was non-existent, so I had difficulty downloading the information, so I rang the landlord, who was extremely helpful. “

„I had a great stay here at this 3 bedroom house, all 3 bedrooms are rented out, i was in a single room, which was perfectly clean, and adequate for my 3 night stay! Its a shared bathroom, and there is a downstairs toilet! I am a professional cleaner, so for me it could have been cleaner, but it was definately clean enough!!! I would stay again, in fact im hoping to rent all 3 rooms next year!!!“
