„My dog loved the smells and just wanted to stand on the front patio and sniff as horses grazed nearby or looked back at her. The interior of the cottage was delightful, very clean with very comfy bed and full kitchen. I enjoyed walking around the property in dawn's early light and met several workers who were very friendly and ready to address a tree that had fallen across one of the trails. There are at least two wedding venues on the property which may give an idea of how scenic and beautiful ...

„Pros Real working farm setting. Very peaceful and serene. Very clean and cool temp wise. Cons Wifi wasnnt working and cell reception poor which made self check in difficult. Had to buy more TP and salt touse in the kitchen. Bathroom sink took forever to drain BUT overall, very minor issues. Would rent again.“

„Pros: Serene location, picturesque pond in backyard, great vibes and friendly staff. We were here for a wedding and had a wonderful time. Cons: Older farm dog off leash on property-roams around and bit our friend’s dog, causing him to bleed, Pond house cute but could be cleaner-quite dusty. “

„My wife and I stayed at the suite for a quick getaway to visit a few wineries and a restaurant or two before spending a couple hours on Skyline drive. This was exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful location, very private, clean and convenient to gordonsville. Would definitely stay here again.“

„Just spent a week at this property and it was great. Location, cleanliness, and amenities were excellent. Appreciated little extras like the wireless chargers by the bed and the labels to help figure out things like the fans and AC units. Everything was super clean when we arrived and the hosts were very responsive when we ran into an issue (that was no fault of theirs.) Fully recommend!“

„Habe dieses Hotel eher zufällig über expedia entdeckt. Tolles Ressort in zwar abgelegener, jedoch traumhafter Lage mit Blick auf den See, Aktivitätenprogramm (wenn man will). Einziger Schwachpunkt ist die Verpflegung. Restaurant auf dem Gelände hat nicht jeden Tag geöffnet, aber aufgrund der Lage möchte man z. B. abends nicht unbedingt nach Gordonsville reinfahren. “

„Myla is very nice and she keeps a beautiful garden. My only complaints are I was only given one bath towel and there wasn’t any extra to be found in the unit. I didn’t want to go upstairs to ask as it was very late when I discovered it. Also, the temperature was a bit cold for me and I didn’t see a thermostat. However, I’d stay again and just make sure I requested another towel and come with warmer clothing. Her house is very close to my best friend’s, and I visit a couple times a year.“

„We really enjoyed staying at this cozy, renovated1700's kitchen house! It had perfect spaces for our 2 teenaged boys to spread out upstairs, beautiful views and places to walk, and was excellent for running between Woodberry and Charlottesville. The friendly dogs and fresh eggs were an added bonus for us.“

„Our stay at the Shenandoah Crossing was wonderful! The setting was beautiful and the cabin was awesome! Very clean and modern with the rustic feel. All staff at the lodge were helpful and very nice!
