It is situated in a nice little village with a coop supermarket, playgrounds and pubs nearby, where you can get by foot (for sportive people, the hill is very steep). There is lots to discover and activities within only a short cardrive - so much we couldn‘t do everything we wanted as the vacation was simply too short! „Het verblijf was prima. Er was alleen aangegeven via FEWO dat alles begane grond was, dit bleek niet het geval. Voor mensen met een beperking dus erg lastig. Parkeerplaats aanwezig maar zeer lastig in en uitrijden. Het café de Red Lion is een aanrader. Goed eten en een lekker biertje/wijntje tegen redelijke prijzen.“

„The cottage is very welcoming and is equipped with everything that you may need. It is very central to the lovely village with shops and pub almost within touching distance. The off-road parking is a boon although there was always space on the road if more than one car was used. All-in-all an excellent stay and no doubt we will return as there is so much to see in the area and the cottage makes a wonderful base.“

„The plus side: Nice clean cottage, welcome basket with fresh bread, haribo sweets, wine. Flowers on table, tea, coffee, sugar and even treats for the dog. Sky/netflix. Bed very comfy. Nice white towels. Good communication from owner. 2 local pubs- the Nelson ...no food gd beer. Rising sun, pub grub. Both friendly pubs. negative side: Right on a very busy,noisy road. We could not work out why so many lorries etc cut through there. We did sort of get used to the noise except early ...
