„Really fun place to stay. Gave us a nice taste of old Detroit. Owners have done a great job with the MoTown theme throughout the house, we used all of the juke boxes. Took a Uber to Tiger game and spent both evenings hanging at house. Used porches in morning and evenings. Location is very convenient for exploring Detroit. Highly recommend this place!“

„Due the weather we did not use the hot tub or lake activities. The home is well maintained, clean and as advertised. The host was available to answer questions. Instructions tor arrival were clear. Two minor issues: The house number is not available from the street. It would be nice if the number is on the house by the street. There are four ceiling fan/light remotes. The batteries were dead or missing, so the controls wouldn't work. We replaced the batteries so we could control them.“

„My fiance and I came to Detroit in the summer because we are touring all of the baseball stadiums in the US. The stay was very spacious, communication was easy, and building/parking felt safe. Only issue was how hot the room was. Despite the (very old) AC that was in the unit, it was not enough to adequately cool the space - it was so hot it was hard to sleep.“

„The house is very well maintained, as is the exterior of the house. There was plenty of room for all 11 of us, and the house has some great character! Everything was as advertised. The host was exceptional and very accommodating. A family member was coincidentally staying at another property owned by the host that same weekend, and had similar excellent things to say. „Unsafe property and very dirty. No hot water during winter season and microwave wasnt working. Would not recommend. I am not picky at all but the fact that I booked for over 1 week and had to leave 3 hours into my stay was a horrible experience. Owner did not want to refund nor reimburse. „Exceptionally gracious host with ultra fast communication. The house was quiet despite being on a busy road. Only challenge was the heating system - confirm with owner that it's been dealt with before renting in cold weather. The downstairs was very cold and the upstairs extremely hot. Perhaps it was just an adjustment we missed or one that they can make. We would happily consider staying in the property again. It's really nice having a wonderful host to work with!“
