„Between our room (No 202) and the poolarea was one other guestroom. Nevertheless the very loud noise of the whirlpool didn't let us sleep. The whirlpool ran several times at night. It also seemed as if the staff was very annoyed by the guests. For instance: Breakfast until 10am meens for the Lady in the breakfast room untill 940. Twisting eyes were the answer of the guests "good morning". Friendliness is different in our opinion.“

„We came for the Birkie, and LOVED staying in this spacious lovely Inn. Beds were comfy, kitchenette was very functional, and nice open space (windows with lovely with view of land and full moon while we were there). „The Pilot House was awesome! The views from the Pilot House were spectacular and the location is very convenient and easily walkable to downtown, to the ferry terminal, and to the Apostle Island cruise location. Our host welcomed us upon arrival and joined us for chats and shared stories. Jack made sure we had everything we needed and was very personable. Our visit to Bayfield and our stay at the Pilot House could not have been better. We highly recommend this rental!! Five stars 👍“
