„We stayed at Breakwater in October 2023 with two young families. The apartment is well stocked and worked well for two couples with three kids under 4. Luke was super accomodating and provided us with pack n plays and a high chair, and was also very responsive. Location is great - walk across the street to the harbor to check out boats and birds, or walk down to the village for breakfast or dinner. We loved our stay in Southwest Harbor and at Breakwater. „We had 9 adults and 1 six year old at this property. It was a beautiful lake front home with plenty of room for all of us to gather together. We all had a wonderful vacation and would highly recommend this home. There was one canoe, one kayak and 2 tandem kayaks for us to use which we did several times. Hearing the loons in the evening made my stay even better“

„Nice stay, rooms were clean but a bit dark, breakfast above US standard, nice pool, location close to park entrance and 10 minutes from Bar Harbor. We were a bit disappointed that we were not allowed to use the fire pit in the backyard which was locked. The reason given was “we have no staff to operate it“. We didn’t ask for anyone to operate it and would have been responsible guests that wanted to have a good time with our kids.“
