„We love staying here when we come to Mt. Ida to dig crystals! Super cute little cabin, very clean and comfy. Close to town, but far enough out so it feels like the country. It has a glorious wrap around deck with a nice Blackstone grill that overlooks the woods and a nice firepit. There is a cabin next door, but it's not close enough to be bothersome. We will definitely be back!“

„We only stayed one night but wished we had at least one more day there. We stayed in the Hamilton room and the room was awesome. Bed was comfy and we had everything we needed. Tiffany’s breakfast was amazing. The grounds around the place are covered with lush vegetation thanks to Tiff’s hubby Bob. We spent hours in conversation with them and felt like family. „This is a sweet little property that was perfect for our quick change of Spring Break plans. It was perfect for 3 kids, ages 10-15 and mom and dad! „Our stay at Gap Mercantile was amazing. The unique experience of staying in what was once part of a general store was like going back in time, but of course it had all the modern amenities. The owners were absolutely wonderful. They were helpful throughout the stay, and we ended up spending a couple of hours talking to them and hanging out in the store because they were just great people. „Everything was great except for storage. There was no place to hang clothes or lay anything. Need some hooks on the walls and clothes rods somewhere to hang jackets and clothes. A table or set of empty shelves to replace the ones with decorations would have been handy. The raised area under the dining table was a hazard and needs to be removed.“

„Marc was a gracious host and has a beautiful property. It was very easily accessible off the main highway. The cabin was perfect for two, plus cute, secluded, peaceful, and relaxing. Marc went out of his way to accommodate us, and we had a beautiful view of the river from the nice covered patio. We were only minutes away from restaurants in town and plan to stay here again! We highly recommend!“
