We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Palazzo Violetta at the end of April 2024. The hotel is spotless, the staff were friendly and helpful and we will stay here again, it is a very good location for buses/ferries but we will request a different room. We were located at the front of the hotel and it was quite noisy, we could have asked to move rooms but did not want to re-pack so we just endured the noise. The walk back to the hotel is all uphill which is fine if you are mobile. There are not many restaurants within immediate walking distance however there were more along the seafront facing Valletta. There are a few coffee shops within walking distance, but prices seemed to vary, we were able to request coffee from the bar in the hotel which was helpful. Our room had a mini-kitchen but only with instant coffee which we do not drink and there is a small supermarket within walking distance. I would recommend Hotel Palazzo Violetta as a place to stay when in Malta.

"Le West in fait un peu "club de vacances". Des prestations en peu en dessous d'un West in classique de grande ville mais a un prix beaucoup plus doux. Hotel idéal pour couple hors vacances scolaires. Tout est bien et cerise sur le gateau il y a une piscine chauffée avec seulement quelques bambins ..."
