Sadly,the rooms and the hallways smelled heavily of smoke. Not too recommended for folk with allergy.
However staff was very kind and the room wasnt bad. Also it is very close to the convention center even WITH chicago traffic

10 May 2019The pier is undergoing major refurbishment at present, so many of the buildings are closed, Still great view over Lake Michigan

19 Mar 2019Apparently its the first place many tourists head to. Others we spoke to were equally disappointed. However, there is a superb architectural boat tour which is based at the shore end of the pier.
