Take great care if you visit after a high tide or rain. There is a a danger of slipping over. Watch out for the trestles the authorities put up in those circumstances too.
More commercial that I remember with expensive restaurants around but great view of the buildings from the square.
Try to avoid between about 11 and 5 as the cruise ships are in and you can hardly move for the crowd's.
