This is most definatley not a boutique hotel, needs a good luck of paint, and quite dirty. Breakfast was also poor. We wouldn’t stay there again or recommend it at that price point

The fan didn't work, the 2 skylight windows were full of cobwebs and didn't look like they had been cleaned, the tap in the kitchen was coming away from its base, the extractor fans were a little bit noisy.Would have liked to have been on a lower floor. Other than that, we would definitely stay again, loved the ruins and the squirrels.

The Swan Theatre is attached with a lovely cafe that is much less busy. Book a tour of the theatre. You go behind the scenes and even bump into the actors! At only £9 it’s aell worth it!
