The hotel is beautiful the staff are so friendly and yes you may be in a hill but there is so much to see and do without going far from your hotel room. "The Gomerino Hotel is in the centre of Valetta with lots of dining options and shops within a short walk. The breakfast was excellent with a buffet plus cooked to order options. The staff were very helpful and friendly. A great place to stay if you want to explore Valetta and surrounding areas. "

"I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were friendly and the waiters were all polite. However the only downside was the breakfast. There was not many options and I noticed some cross contamination between the eggs and the pork which as a Muslim made me uncomfortable. Other than this, the hotel was amazing, the Junior suite was so spacious and the balcony view was beautiful. The bed was very comfy and I loved the decor with the big mirrors. "I enjoyed the hotel and the lounge!! The bed was comfortable and the shower was relaxing. Unfortunately, I saw a few bugs in the bathroom when I showered. Also, there isn’t a DND sign so housekeeping woke me up daily. "

Calm area compared to busier St Julians. Breakfast was quite standard as any other hotel. They could bring more varieties like Idly or Dosa."

"There’s a few small things this hotel could do to bring it back up to 4star status, having one of the lifts out of order doesn’t help, also the indoor pool and hottub need to be back up and running. Some sound proofing in the rooms would be nice, mine was near the (working) lift which I could hear very clearly everytime it was used. (Take earplugs!) The WiFi is a bit patchy too, the TV in my room was temperamental and the water pressure is an issue - takes ages to run a bath! But the staff were...
