"The hotel is well located next to a wonderful pretty park. There is also a great restaurant located close to the hotel if you don’t want to eat there. The hotel is clean and comfortable. All the staff are friendly and helpful, the the building has no real character and looks like a bland 90’s hotel anywhere. "This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. We booked it for the Sunday evening of Easter weekend. We arrived about 14:50 to be told we had been given an upgrade which was a lovely surprise. We were then shown to seats in the bar & given a glass of sparkling rose each. Following this we were taken to our Roman suite which was spacious & luxurious. We were impressed with the selection of toiletries & the two shower rooms meaning we could get ready at the same time. The Lindt chocolate bunnies...

"Es war ein toller Aufenthalt. Alle waren freundlich, Essen lecker und die Zimmer ordentlich und sauber. Leider gibt es keine Klima in den Zimmern und auch nur ein Vorhang für Innen, ich hatte ein Zimmer das von 2 seiten stetig Sonne bekam und bei ü 29° Temperatur war es mehr als unangenehm. Ein einfacher Turm-Ventilator stand mir zur Verfügung, bringt halt nicht viel. Aber alles in allem würde ich mich hier nochmal einquartieren. Auch mein Hund war willkommen, tolle wege zum wandern."

"The bright and renovated 2 bedroom apartment with Livingroom, eat-in kitchen, and modern bath was very clean, nicely furnished, and well supplied with necessary appliances and kitchen/bath supplies. The Host was outstanding with communications and very helpful and patient with tourism-related questions. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!"

"We had a nice stay at Bawelsberger Hof, but only due the efforts of the receptionist who also doubled as the bar staff, the waitress at dinner AND took payments for the room. This had a knock on effect as when we were waiting to place our order for dinner, she was pouring drinks for another table. When we waited at the bar to be served drinks, she was on the phone with a client........you get the picture, can't be in two places at once. Thicker curtains are needed if your room faces the street-...

"After staying here for many years we were not advised there was no longer a restaurant in the hotel so had to find one at very short notice. There are still references to the non existing restaurant at the hotel so was a real shock and inconvenient as this is a major reason why we select hotels that a restaurant within them. We feel we should have been advised when we booked our stay and wec.f. would have found a different one with a restaurant."
