"The owners of the hotel were lovely, relaxed and easy going. The gentleman didn’t speak great English but still managed to communicate a fantastic restaurant and where to go in the train lines. The train was only 500m from the hotel and safe to walk to and fro. We were there for New Years and had a great time with all the fireworks. The only issue we had was some other guests coming home really late and drunk waking everyone up but that could happen anywhere."

"This little gem was recommended by the B&B we were staying at (the B&B could not accommodate our full stay). Free parking available underground. Bed was very comfortable and well kept. The hotel was fairly recently renovated when bought by the new owner. Check in was prompt, free WiFi included. The reception person was also the owner and her English was perfect. Breakfast was extra but worth the cost. A typical European buffet but fresh and tasty. Like many smaller hotels, the only downside...

"The room was clean in the sense that the bathroom was nice but the room itself was quite dusty. Also the curtains in the room were very badly stained and had a cigarette hole in the sheer curtain. Not that it personally impacted my stay or experience it just is not a good look. Also towards the top of the room you can see the air vents need a proper cleaning, there were some cracks in the wall. Staff was great and the beds were comfortable so overall it was enjoyable. 8/10 "
