"I loved the area and everything inside the hotel, the staff were very convenient and took care of me right away. The only problem was the watered drinks and the flies in the food from time to time. I loved the water they provided had no other taste but tasty and refreshing. They didn’t clean my room unless I told them and all of my things were safe even when I left my purse to go for a swim in the pool. Loved everything."

"Nice pool area and view of the ocean from the best patio I've ever had in the DR. If you like being close to shopping, a good pool area with also an ocean view from your balcony this is the best deal I've seen in about a dozen trips to The Republic. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, and Domenico and his wife are always very responsive to any questions or problems. "We had a wonderful time at this great beach condo. My family loves the pool and the pool area is fantastic. The pool bar was open Thurs. - Sun and you could even order hot food there. The easily accessible beach had few visitors so it was like having it to ourselves much of the time. My son had fun in the game room and the small soccer field. The ocean breeze was constant so the temperatures were pleasant at all times. We have stayed at several ocean front rentals but we will definitely return...
