"Beautiful hotel located midway between Heraklion and Chania. Loved the beach and restaurant. Our room was amazing with our own pool and fireplace in our private outdoor area. Staff couldn't have been nicer. Loved Rethymno's old town which was a short cab drive away. Would highly recommend this hotel."

"The hotel grounds and greenery were extremely well kept up. The buffet breakfast and dinner exceeded our expectations. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was basic but internet was reliable. Television was mainly German with some Greek channels which makes sense as the majority of the guests were older Germans. The pretty beach was very accessible and swimmable,got lounger with no problems each day. Negatives- horrible smelling cleaning products used especially the lobby...

"It would have been fine for third/half the price. Lots of problems in the room wihch were partly sorted out. I understand it is supply and demand but for the cost I woudl expext it to be much nigher standard."

We booked a junior suite which was meant to come with a sofa with pillows as depicted in the photos but instead it came with a sofa bed that was as hard as a rock. There was no desk and the bed was lumpy and caved in the middle but fortunately they changed it for us. For some reason every single day they removed the flat sheet off the bed and we had to make the bed all over again ourselves. We asked them repeatedly...
