"The apartment itself was very nice. Spacious in all areas. As for the cleanliness it certainly didnt looked to have been cleaned. The tv unit thick with dust, carpet not vacuumed, bath surround showing grimy residue. No brush/hoover for us to do this ourselves, and needing to purchase other cleaning products. "Came to relax due to pregnancy pains and it did the job! The comfiest bed EVER! So clean, and super relaxing. The only downside was that we couldn’t control the room temperature and it was VERY hot. This wouldn’t put me off staying again! For the price, it’s more than worth its value! "

"We loved our stay at Mya Cottage. The place was clean, spacious, and tidy. It seemed like everything was thought of - things we didn’t think we’d need until we got there like tin foil were provided. The owners were lovely, the check in and out process was easy. The showers were good, and it was in a little gated community which we really liked. Nothing bad to report! Would stay again!"

"Contacted property manager and Vrbo the day before to enquire about accessing the property. Received no response. Called the owner at 9.15 on the day. He sounded confused but raised no issue, so I got on with my day. Received a text after 10.30 to say the property was not available! Apparently vrbo had not coordinated the availability. Host offered to book us into a local hotel…. Not ideal as we could have done that ourselves (and chosen a better hotel) but we had plans with friends and dinner...

"This is one of the nicest places I've stayed in it was so peaceful and the house felt cosy. It had everything you could think of or need. Some lovely villages round it . I would definitely stay there again and recommend it."

"The property is a wonderful little find. The hosts are very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The apartment is spotlessly clean and lots of little treats in both the kitchen and bathroom. Barry was extremely responsive to our emails prior to our visit. We were unfortunately delayed on transport when visiting Manchester. "No frills room at a great price. Staff were really friendly. Fantastic buffet breakfast included in our stay and we also had a lovely dinner. The dining room is nicely decorated and a pianist played in the evening. Could not fault this hotel. Normally stay at the Rendezvous in Skipton, but this hotel is half the price. Will definitely stay again "
