"The property is fairly spacious but is on 3 levels plus 10 stairs to initially get to the door. So is not at all disabled friendly. Their is no banister on the first rise of stairs within the house and no stair gate. The toilet in the en suite was not fully working (the cistern was not always filling up to be able to flush) we were advised of this the day before we arrived, and told a Plumber would be sorting it in the next few weeks! Which would obviously not help us! Apart from the above we...

"There are only 3 pods, which protects the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The view is exceptional and a place to truly relax. The pods offer a good standard of living space with a lovely hot shower and a really comfortable bed. The local sheep add an interesting intro to being in the countryside and lovely to watch. The pod is reached by a narrow single track road but this didn’t cause us any difficulties. The location is great for getting most places in the Dales. We will definitely be back. "

"We had the best stay at this property. All three properties are very well equipped and were perfect for our large group. The location is stunning and great for doing walks in the local area. Sally was very responsive to any queries I had ahead of the trip and whilst we were there. A hot tub had just been installed a few days before we arrived and was the perfect addition to the property. I am very much looking forward to coming back in the future!"

"Lovely modern flat. Clean, tidy and well equipped. Communication from the owner was great from booking to departure. Local shop (5mins walk) and nice pub a short walk (20mins ish) in next village. Easy drive to Harrogate and various walks in Yorkshire Dales."

"Wonderful stay with my friend at our 2 dogs, great facilities if you have dogs and very secure for them. It is worth noting that you can not pull your car directly up to the hut to unpack and pack, but it is only a very short walk. Lots of nice walks and secure places for dogs to have a run off the lead. Wildlife in the area is second to non. We walked into Thirsk from the huts and had a lovely lunch and such a pretty town. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning. "

"We came back to visit with other family members and enjoyed our stay just as much as the first. Some of us were a little under the weather and so it was lovely to have a relaxing, beautiful environment in which to rest. We were even able to avail ourswlves of the sauna which had been installed since the last time we visited back in September. A delightful property! i wish we could find something similar to one day for us to live in!"

"Everything was as stated on the site. Cottage was spacious, well equiped, warm & welcoming. Couldnt fault it at all and would recommend anyone to stay there. We shall certainly be back. For anyone who has never stayed at Pateley, please do as the people and the village are so warm & welcoming, and please all use the local shops as you will be more than welcome from them."

"I was very happy with the hotel and staff. room was perfectly adequate with plenty of tea and milk, something lacking in other places iv stayed, very clean all around the hotel, always greeted by any member of staff with a hello at any time of passing. The biggest plus was the price, £40 or £50 cheaper than any similar standard place within a long distance. Excellent effort and nice to have stayed there. "
