"Simply the prettiest place we have visited! Breathtaking and the apartment is in a great position. Everyone in the building was friendly and our kids had a great time. They loved the pool and jumping in the lake. The apartment has everything you need and it was great we didn’t need to take bedding, towels and oil etc fir cooking Urs even provided coffee which was a lovely surprise - we love coffee Would definitely aim to return Thank you"

"Pro's and cons: Pro's first: good location, a short drive from Luino, a good sized lakeside town. You can take ferries from Luino all round the lake, including to the Borromean islands. You'll have to spend some time aquainting yourself with the ferry timetable and a map of the lake. Nothing much goes on in Dumenza itself. "We loved our stay! The house suited our needs for our 2 night stay in Lake Como and we loved the proximity to a lovely hike over the peninsula and away from the "touristy" spots of Lake Como. A couple notes... the pool view is not the view from the house and there is actually a house in most of the view of the house with only a side view of the lake out of the main window so that was a disappointment and honestly a bit deceiving based on the pictures. There were no toiletries (soap/shampoo)...

I will say the view was beautiful, however finding the location and finding the management office to obtain the keys Was very difficult Additionally, the sofa bed was in such bad shape.
