"We loved the beautiful house and yard. It was a great place to hang out as a family. Lots of games and we had tournaments of bocce and ping pong. The tables inside and pool side were perfect for our family reunion of 8. The location to the amazing beach and colourful cliff walks were a short walk. The tapas restaurant and the fresh pastries from across the street were delicious. I hope to return. The owners were delightful and easy to get in touch with."

"Before continuing, I need to point out the property we stayed at was a lovely villa, part of a community os identical units. It was lovely but it is NOT the photo above. It was very confusing driving there: while getting higher up the mountain, it was decidedly not going to be the photo of property booked. This should be corrected. Really. Otherwise, the place was lovely and well located a 10 ish walk down to beach. We never did find the pool."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Casa das Andorinhas, the house is delightful, loved the decor throughout and it had everything we needed. Felt like we were locals! It is also in a great location, near to the marina, old town and the beautiful beaches. You can walk to all of the amenities. We didn’t have a car but caught the bus to Porto de Mos and Sagres which were both really nice days out. The train station is also very near and we got the train back to Faro for our flight. "This property is exceptional beautiful property - perfectly located away from the hustle and bustle of downtown with amazing view of Ocean, short walk to beach and yet close to Old Town Lagos (7 min Uber drive) and close to all major sites. Joana was a great host – courteous and quick to respond to a few questions on our arrival. In short, we had a super stay - Wow!"

We loved the property, the pool and the location, great for the mountains and 15min drive to Tavira. Heidi was very friendly and attentive, checking that we had everything we needed, which we did. "Nancy was a great host and lovely to speak with. The apartment is beautiful and is in a great location, walking distance to everywhere you want to go but far enough that the area is very quiet at night for a restful sleep. As a solo traveller I felt very safe and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying at this wonderful apartment and will be staying again in the future!"

"Lovely villa, had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, clean and well equipt. Great location for the old town. We were however disappointed that the upper level kitchen couldnt be used as we had a family with a baby and it would have been better if they could have utilised it instead of having to go to the lower level for milk snacks ect. The loungers round the pool also need replacing as they were very uncomfotable. These issues however did not impead on our stay and we would return."

"We had a short stay at this villa in June 2023. Overall, we really enjoyed our time because we just wanted to "zone out" by the pool ... which we did every day. Overall, the villa was good. The pool was very good. We have down graded our rating for 4 reasons: 1. There is no air conditioning or fans. On hot evenings like we had, the bedroom area is very hot and we struggled to sleep 2. "Gorgeous home in a beautiful community in the Algarve. Very comfortable for our party of six. Could walk to restaurants and a small grocery store. Bus stop close to take a 10 minute ride to the Carvoeiro. Communicating with hosts was very easy. Highly recommend this property."

"We enjoyed our stay. It was easy to walk to the beach and a short drive into town. Very quiet. Bathrooms and kitchen are updated and the kitchen has the tools you need for cooking. We called the decor "grandma's" house. It worked well just a little worn and outdated."

"I was impressed with the property initially, it was well equipped but lacked a milk jug and teapot. Also the internet was often unavailable.One of the biggest problem were the beds, far too low and the pillows were poorly filled and therefore uncomfortable.I had to go out and buy two new ones. The showers were extremely difficult to control and one was in great danger of being scalded. The shower cubicle downstairs was too small to turn around in as a result your body would inadvertently either...

"Due to check in instructions via vrbo,myself and friends were taken to wrong adress of property.this was very quickly rectified with a call from owners.The owners are very pleasant people who go out there way to make your stay as wonderful as possible!NOTE:check in was vrbo error. The property is beautifully modern and very spacious! You can see they take pride in their property. Location is good as 10 mins uber to albufeira. We had an amazing time and felt at home and didn't want to go home!"
