Pretty Property, Well Located, Mediocre Communication at Best

Property was nice enough although there wasn't a dresser in any bedroom to put away clothes for a family. The home was crazy hot when we arrived at 4pm (over 80 degrees), we asked that the lock on the Nest thermostat air conditioning be moved down to 68 so we could eventually go to sleep, we were told 'no problem'. It was never done. All internet and TV was knocked out 4 days into our stay necessitating my wife hanging out 2-4 hours a day at 6 am and 6pm at a local Starbucks to continue running her business. We were in town for a 3 day conference with our 4 children and my mother to babysit. First response was 'well, we have no control over this. When we objected to that verbiage, it changed to 'we can refund you the remainder if you check out.' Easier said than done in the middle of work with 7 people in tow. When we left 4 days later, the internet and TV had still had not restored. Not an easy situation to have 4 children stuck in a house in 110 degree Vegas heat with no other amusements outside of a small pool whose skimmers only ran 2 hours a day in the afternoon while we worked. We asked for a small credit since we ended up renting a hotel room nearby for about $250. We sent the bill to prove we had incurred this expense. Again, no response. Maybe this was an off week for the owners but our experience was not good.

This review is slanderous; this traveler is disgruntled because I refused her request for compensation. Nothing in this preposterous review is true other than the fact that the internet went down for 2.5 hours. The outage was a Cox Communications outage and was restored within 2.5 hours; unfortunately this traveler felt that they deserved almost a full refund for a 2.5 hour internet outage- an outage that I had absolutely no control of and had no ability to fix. I called Cox multiple times during the outage because this guest accused me of lying about the outage; she was phishing for a reason to get money back from me and thought that she could capitalize on the internet being out for 2.5 hours.
The AC is very efficient and has never stopped working nor did it stop working during the duration of this traveller's trip. Furthermore, guests have complete control of the temperature settings- you do not need to contact me in order to lower the temperature. I'm not sure why this traveler felt that they were stuck in the home; there is a whole city that they could have explored.
The pool is by no means small, and as you can see from all of my other reviews, guests love the home and the pool. Unfortunately some people are impossible to please.
