Overall stay was great, property management was wonderful!

Checkin process was really easy. We got consistent communication before and after checkin. Our stay was good, everything we expected from place. There are 2 bedroom and 1 bath and one pull couch. Small kitchen and really good patio. Place also has dish washer, washer and dryer. We had great time and LBI and hoping to come back again.

We had a wonderful stay on Marshall in the upper unit. We had to reach out to the property manager shortly after checking in about a couple things and he was very responsive and took care of our concerns right away. The location to the beach is a short walk away and the views of the bay are only a block away. We brought bikes and were able to ride to great restaurants, shopping, and ice cream within 10 minutes. The only negative is the property could use a good deep cleaning. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend this for two couples or a family of 4!

We really enjoyed renting this upstairs unit. We were very happy to find a place willing to do weekend rentals in June! The location is great and the property management was very friendly. They even sent us emails with local restaurants before arriving. My only one negative feedback is the apartment was really in need of updating, specifically the bathroom, beds, and air conditioners. We were lucky enough to have nice weather and shut the AC off as soon as we got there because we could see mold on one and just didn’t like the noise. The door to the bathroom was pretty rough as well as the vanity and fixtures. They had attempted to add a mattress topper to the bed, but unfortunately it did little to help. The living room furniture was much more comfortable and my husband ended up sleeping there one night. If you’re looking for a nice, small, great beach access place then I would recommend this place, especially if they get the upgrades done!!

This property is as advertised, only cuter. Great beachy decor, cozy couches, wonderful deck. A special feature of the property is the privacy given by the tall hedge and trees. Our host was very attentive to our requests and questions. Open floor plan between kitchen and living room gives the smallish apartment a roomier feel. We would return!

Overall the place was good. The airconditioning and bedding could use upgrading. The owner communicated well and was easy to contact during our stay. Loved the deck and the beach chairs and beach badges were a great amenity!

Appartement was suitable easily for our family of 4. The suburb is quiet and we enjoyed the balcony. Although we did make some recommandation to the owner to enhance our rating. Kitchen could be more equipped. (Strainer/cisors/plates/cups) Slider door was very hard Felts for kitchen chairs. Also the overall cleanliness could be improved. (Walls/mat) Owner offered to repair, which should be done by now. Hopefully for the next renters

We really enjoyed our stay for the weekend. The house was clean, had everything you needed including washer/dryer, A/C etc. Owners were very responsive to any questions, etc. Nice deck to sit out on, as well. So close to the beach. Overall a great house and would highly recommend.

This is our fourth year renting in Long Beach Island. We have loved all the other homes over the years and enjoyed our stay until this experience with this listing. The homeaway listing was described as enchanting. But in person, we discovered warped and unsafe floor boards on the outdoor shower. My son was injured. The sleeper sofa featured in the photos was broken and so unsanitary we had to cover it with sheets to sit on it. There was rope holding the mattress for support, the master bedroom outlet is dangerous and needs repair, the toilet doesn’t flush properly. But the biggest hardship was not having HOT water until late in the day Monday on our 3rd day. The water was cold for 3 days. Having 3 children ages 4, 7 and 9, this was a major issue especially with girls having very long hair. It is a rare occasion to take time off of work to relax, enjoy quality time with my family and be subjected to these poor conditions. The advertisement as you see states this is non-refundable, but it also misstated the conditions of the home. It was not enchanting, not safe for children; there was no hot water until day 3 and no lights in the main bedroom until day 2. Not being able to wash my 2 daughters very long hair until the 3rd day was awful. There was a text conversation, early in the week where the owner said he would be compensating us for the issues, however, to date, we have not received a reply, call or refund. The owner was responsive to the many issues we presented, however, ignored our messages once we departed. We own a home in Sarasota which we rent and with all the hurricanes, and hardships we have all faced, it has been a very hard year for us. For many! And this is a just a shame that a family would rent a home in LBI in this poor condition and take advantage of a young family with no recourse. Consider other homes before you rent this one. I have been in discussions trying to refute this charge on my credit card, but I was told that unless our family couldn’t access the inside of the home, we can’t get a refund. Apparently having hot water is not mandatory when you rent a beach home. And we did not have hot water for 3 full days. Don’t ruin your family vacation and consider this home with these owners.
