The dining room floor was very sticky and needed a good mop in contrast the breakfast was really good. what let them down was we were not told we needed to get our car out of the car park on Sunday morning as there was a 10K race organised and the roads were closed. we were stuck till the race finished. Not one member of staff mentioned this fact, either when we checked in or at breakfast. Poor communication.

Probably the best location in Lincoln overlooking the Cathedral, with the added bonus of excellent parking. Some aspects of the hotel were new and modern - the deluxe bedrooms for example, but other areas were dated such as the lift and corridors. The exterior is due a good clean and/or repaint. The breakfast was buffet style with little personal interaction. For such a well positioned hotel it needs to improve its customer service.

Comfortable, friendly and affordable. I was in Lincoln for a conference, I'm so glad I stayed here not in in the conference centre!
The walk through town was a real treat (I wouldn't have seen this medieval jewel of a city if I'd stayed by the river).
The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was tasty. All in all a really great stay.
I'll be back in town for the conference next year and hope to stay in the same place!
