Don’t stay in this room

Pics on VRBO showed a view of swimming pool and Lake LV. Obviously, it’s expected that the view would be the same from the balcony. False. The view was of a dirt hill and road, about as ugly as it could get. Having a view of the lake makes all the difference ( I’ve stayed in a different studio that had the lake view without false advertising) I was stuck in the room for a month! I was also told the entry light would be replaced, it never was. The TV lost it’s settings and it’s impossible to reset it. It happened three times with maintenance taking three days to show ( and that was with constant complaining from me. I left a note to leave specific directions on fixing it if it happened again. Maintenance replied by writing, “off -on” sarcastically. No dierections on how to reset tv/dish network so I wouldn’t have to call for help. Of course it happened the last two days of my stay. I Didn’t even try to have it fixed, knowing no help would show for days again. There was No dishwasher or stovetop, one dish towel, no disposal, sink drained ridiculously slow. No courtesy items that are the norm until the renter can purchase items, like a coffee filter or two, dish soap, etc. Finally, the small freezer area of the mini fridge should have been defrosted. Thick frost, even more by the time I left. Couldn’t really use it. I did write an email to property manager after a week. Never got a response. Do not rent this unit.
Raymond, the greeter, is wonderful. He’s twice introduced me to the units. He is on top of things, but there isn’t anything he can actually do beyond notifying housekeeping/maintenance.... all to no avail. Thank you.

It is our goal to do everything we can to make each guests stay delightful. In this case, the guest viewed the photos describing the amenities the guest can take advantage of and didn't realize which section of the website she was viewing. We only share the the exact views from the property within the property page. We never want anyone to be disappointed.
Regarding the entry light; it was in fact replaced during the guests stay as quickly as our maintenance staff could get to the property with a light bulb.
The television is set on "input 1." We instructed the guest to always keep the remote on "input 1" to insure that the channels were always available. Raymond explained and demonstrated how to make sure the remote was on "input 1" and if she accidentally changed the setting, he showed her how to correct back to "input 1." I think even after the instruction it was still confusing for her.
This is an affordable lovely condo for anyone interested in a relaxing stay.
