Terrible experience. Do not stay here.

I am very disappointed with my stay at Ramanashree California Resort.
1. Check-in.
The reception staff couldn't find my booking and told me that they have no tie-up with hotels.com. I have to call hotels.com to get checked-in to a room that I already paid in full for, which took 45 mins. This is frustrating especially after a long flight.
2. Room
I had booked an Executive Room, but I was given a room that was definitely not as advertised on hotels.com. The flush does not work, the bathroom door does not close, the room is dirty and certainly is not 3-star standard. I had to negotiate with the hotel manager and he finally "upgraded" me to an Executive Room, when I actually booked and paid for an Executive Room. For that "upgrade", I had to wait for another 45 minutes for them to clean up the room before I can finally get into my room.
All in all, it took me 2 hours before I could get into a reasonable room. Even then the Executive Room is not acceptable for a 3-star hotel. Please stay elsewhere.
